Racial Thresh-hold?

question: Racial threshold: Can be bought twice, allows negation of calls of 1 dmg for one purchase, and 2 for 2 purchases.
If purchased twice, does that mean that if you swing for 3 points I take away 2 or just if you swing for 2 then I take away 2?

I just need a clarification...

It does nothing for you against a damage call of three or higher. If your damage equals the threshold (or protection aura) it is completely negated. If the damage is greater, you suck it.

I remember correctly...

Remember that armor is burned no matter if you are immune to the damage by your racial threshold. This is different from the Protection Aura Formal magic.

Also keep in mind that anything that makes you lose your IG skills (Like many poisons) also makes you lose your thresh-hold. But that is not the case for a PA.
 
WHY that is, no one really knows, but yeah, get drained, your tough skin ain't tough and thick no more... :rolleyes:

SUUUURE.... You know, if I actually THREW drain at trolls...

No, really, I can't. I've tried and the incants just end up healing... makes for funny NPCing :P

That's for sure, Speaking as a PC on the recieving end of Sarah's NPC spell chucking arm. Thanks for the healing, and the look on your face was great too.
