Question to sate some insecurity

Okay, so i have recently been named a new player marshall, and i have been assigned through a system 3 people, and none of them have responded to my e-mails. I don't think it goes into spam because i have had one person respond to me before i became an official new player marshall, but I am worried that maybe i might be writing something weird to make people not respond, so i am opening the floor to criticism to either improve my communications with new players or let me know that it isn't me. if y'all wouldn't mind some feedback, it would be appreciated.

This is my last example:

Hi, I'm adam. I will be your newbie marshall for our SoMN alliance larp chapter. You can talk to anyone of course, but I am here to answer any of your questions and help you however possible.

Let me know whatever you need or anything you wanna know.

You might try something more like:

Subject: New player contact for Alliance LARP

Welcome to the Alliance! My name is Adam and I've been assigned to be your new player contact for our game. I've been playing Alliance for <insert years> and I'm a marshal in <chapter X> which means that I can answer any rules questions you may have about our game.

If you have any questions or need help with anything while getting started with Alliance, just let me know.

Looking forward to seeing you at game!

Only NPC guild, but my 2 cents.

Sarah's presentation states the same thing but is more professional in presentation. Avoid slang, short hand, etc when making your early impressions on people. Once they get to know you, then you can communicate more casually.

Other than that, it could very well be that people have no questions/concerns yet.

I agree with the previous posts, also feel free to ask more experienced new player marshals if you need assistance or have questions as a new player marshal. We have a separate board setup for that exact purpose.

if yall think I should be more professional, I think I can do that.

I like being informal because I wanna be approachable, but I understand that it might misrepresent that I am serving a serious function.

Greetings,

I completely understand the desire to be approachable. Its a fine line that a writer has to balance when writing letters/emails.

Sarah's suggestion is very good. But, if you would prefer a more informal approach that is fine. But, I would still refrain from using words like "Newbie," and would at the very least use a professional opening and closing. Feel free to run any email correspondance by me at thesavvysolution@gmail.com. I would be happy to help you wherever I can.

The key to all communication is to make the time valuable for the listener and show them how you're making their lives better.

Welcome to the Alliance! My job is to help you have a great time at our game....

I can help you with some key decisions:

How should I design a fun character?
Should I PC or NPC?
What should I pack for an event?
etc. etc.

Of course you can always come to a game without talking to me; I'm just a resource you can use if you have questions.

I wouldn't use words like newbie or even new player.
