Hypothetical situation:

Hudson the Magpie-kyn casts Magical Claws (rendering his claws now valid for Item (weapon) rituals) on his spirit. If he were to then cast Mystical Malleability (Item (any)) on his claws, would that allow him strengthen, silver, or superior equipment his claws?

Magical Claws specifically allows Rituals that target Item (Weapon). Mystical Malleability has Item (Any) as its target and would therefore not be a ritual allowed by Magical Claws.
