Hey Everyone,

Rob D and Annette Smith have consented to hosting all of us wacky larpers for a "One Day Potluck". The event is a good ole excuse to see each other one more time for the winter, get our RP on, eat some food, and you know...hang out with each other a bit.

The event will be held at Annettes home in Yorkville IL and will be a non-combat event. Weather allowing, we may be able to do a module or two outside but this is primarily an RP event. Afterwards people are welcome to stay for a few, chat it up and hang out until Annette and Nate get sick of you and kick you all out.

Rob D will run some downtime scenes with people, have a few important IG announcements and there may be a puzzle or two for us to solve and get clues for next year. This also give us chances to speak to a bevy of his many NPCs, (we may even get a glimpse of the illustrious Kituaren) and even maybe get some planning done for the next year.

The cost of the event is up to you:

We ask for a $10 donation to cover the cost of logistics, national fees, and of course the wonderful yearly insurance payment.

Or

You can just bring 5 bucks and a dish to share...coordinate that with Miss Annette.

In either case come on down, have some fun, see each other for the holidays.

Please let us know if you can make it to multiple dates, none, or suggest an extra weekend or any changes.
 
If you vote for another day...can you please please please make a suggestion or two? Its hard to coordinate schedules :)

You need to be logged in. I think you also have to have a certain number of posts. Its a low number but could be why.

Correction apparently it has to do with some mobile devices experience problems.

For logistics purposes, will this count as a 1-Day?

Correct. Based on the poll looks like december 13th the sat will be the mod day. It will count logistically as a full one day. I will make an official thread for it once the poll has time to develop a bit more. Ie in the morning
 
ok, we wouldnt be able to make it on the 13th. that weekend we have our last craft sale of the year.
 
Anyone who travels from a great distance--- we have three couches, two love seats, 5 big comfy chairs and plenty of floor space--- you are welcome to crash as needed!
 
Just thinking- we have a large burn stack, maybe we will save it and if anyone braves outside we can light up the fire pit:-)

I'd love to come, but the 12th is the last day of finals and I probably couldn't feasibly make it down there in time. Have fun!
 
Wuss! You can make it...just drive in friday night to Chicago, crash on our couch and drive home sat...hardcore! :P

Huh, same day as the SoMN party, I'll have to see if Andrea will let me set up a Skype link at some point ^.^
 
I insist that your Skyping interaction occurs in-game, with Enan casting a True Empowered Whispering Wind to make it happen.
 
That would be amazing actually. Although a terrible precedent. Silp can totally waylay enan in the middle of it too, Alexander just side steps into view and gets it done.
 
I have the scroll in Chicago, so Rob, you'll have to marshal through skype for the casting ^.^
