Greetings and 'Allo!

Iz nice thing to see some folks settled in one plece. I and my family 'ave wandered into dis area from far away. Dis is the first settlement we 'ave reached in a long road of traveling. My tribe, da Domari's have pitched our tents 'ere for a short while and we bring several grains and foods for to be shared with peoples we meet. I 'ave spoken to de one yoo call Jara, and he has allowed us to come in and present ah gift to the peoples. We will be serving a breakfest for yoo all! I will might need a bit of 'elp and I can offer some coin to one who weel elp me out. Although de roomers 'ave already been around my Tribe's tent circle, we don belive dat any undead will be joining us for our breakfest. So rise in da morning and join me!

Fortannis with you all,
Vadoma Drabardi Lyuba Josephina Nadya Tsura Domari

I would gladly be at the service of The Wanderers! I find their fare and stories to be both entertaining and enriching. Not to mention, I can always use more coin to rub together. Tell me, what brings your caravans to Wayside? Spring planting?

Friend Dramthin,

Oh! You would be 'appy to know dat da Domari's come with many stories to share! We 'ave been all over Fortannis in our travels and now we wander to your lands. Dis is another stop on our road, to bring good fortune to the people of Fortannis. We bring our own supplies and I'z sure we will leave with new trinkets of your lands as well. So if yoo weesh, Friend Dramthin, come and meet with me and enjoy or foods.

Cousin Marcey,

So far I 'ave yet to meet another Rroma since our settlement, but I see dat der iz at least one. Yoo come as well to meet with me for breakfest. Iz nice to 'ear of our Cousins travels as well.

Friend Joe Tatcher,

You 'ave big problem with Romani I know, but I assure you, that my breakfest is not inviting of the undead sort. Perhaps you should give us, da Domari, a chance to bring our peace and good fortune to your Wayside.

Fortannis with you,
Vadoma Drabardi Lyuba Josephina Nadya Tsura Domari

Ah! Hear hear! And what gift should I bring to thee for inviting me to breakfast, mi sorella? And it could nye hurt to have a bit of Dagon fortune as well, ah?

Cousin Marcey,

I will accept any trinkets yoo may want to geeve me! For I shall exchange my own!

Fortannis with you,
Vadoma Drabardi Lyuba Josephina Nadya Tsura Domari

Ah, but silly me! Customs 'tween familia differ sometimes, I were only asking for in custom of Dagon, a gift relies on the recipients age and station. But I have pretty good idea of what you could use. ;)

Lady...Vadoma Drabardi Lyuba Josephina Nadya Tsura Domari,

My apologize but I have found it hard to understand your...unique...culture. I hope that you will find Wayside to be a comfortable place, we have had many undead troubles with the self declared gypsy vampire Prince Quasim, but rest assured he will bother you know more. I witnessed as the stake of Woe drove through his heart and he was returned to his mortal state.

However pleasant I may sound know that I am still wary of your kind, where I come from we have no Romani... It has been a hard adjustment to get used to dealing with your...unique...culture. I had a rather unfortunate misunderstanding with a Gypsy at the Alborian Commoners Festival who did not understand my struggle, it appears that she felt offended and needed to prove something. I have now learned yet another thing of your kind, women are still women, whether human, mystic wood elf, or gypsy.

I hope that you will not take to much offense to my actions, as I am more level headed in the dreamrealm. There are years of hatred that I must shed, and it is a long and arduous path.

May you find warmth from Winter's sweet embrace,

Friend Kevar,

I understand dat yoo all have dispatched dis "Prince" Quasim and 'ave toiled for long time with his vampires. I assure you dat I bring no such tings with me, nor does my family. We give to the people peace and the love of Fortannis but nere shall we steal or murder. Iz not our ways. Da Domari are lovers of dis land and itz peoples.

Cousin Marcey,

Allow me to esplain, Iz 2nd Vadoma Drabardi, of my Tribe. I bring messges of good fortune to everyone through my fortune telling and healing. I alzo spreading good health through my grains. Dis iz my station and service.

Fortannis with you,
Vadoma Drabardi Lyuba Josephina Nadya Tsura Domari

Ah! Is wonderful! I know just the thing! :D I look forward to meeting thee and reaquainting myself with all of the travellers I have met before in my travels to Wayside!

Who is Diklo? A brother? Where can I find him? Is he another "prince" like Quassim?

I would you not refer to Quassim as a Romani. He was not when I met him. He was a DEAD Romani.

And with that, Kevar Byrne, you have proven yourself not only perceptive but shrewd. I have found Romani women to be delightful, but woe betide those who cross them. 'Course, that could be said for the entirety of the fairer sex regardless of race. ;)

As for Prince Quassim, I don't believe he stopped being Rom when he was changed into a vampire. He might have been excluded by the people, but his spirit had not fundamentally changed, just the colour of the blood in his veins. The Elder vampire who created him might have convinced him otherwise, but such attachments are not so easily shrugged away.

I am curious. What did happen to Quassim's body? I truly do hope he was returned to his family.

Togashin

Darmthin,
I see you have also learned a few things of the fairer sex, they are truly delightful but with a bite to make a snake curl. Most Romani women I have encountered (that being said I feel it is necessary to admit that I have only met two...soon to be three) seem to be as pleasant and wonderful as any other women a man may hope to meet; Unless however you find yourself on the wrong side of her mood, the Romani's unique ability with curses seems to allow them to express their fury in...interesting ways. It appears my disposition to the Romani has gotten me into an interesting situation, one that I feel may be difficult to work my way out of. This is one of the reasons that I find this talk about GFW so...unsettling. For I have, and am currently, experiencing the difficulties that may plague future generations if this movement is as bad as I fear.

Togashin,
I believe there was some discussion of a proper burial of the late Quassim, however I did not follow up on the discussion. Perhaps others know more then I on his current whereabouts.

I feel I must step in for a minute to remind the good people of Wayside that the undead threat is not completely eliminated. While Quassim indeed exerted a large amount of control over the undead in Wayside, he did not create them all. My personal studies lead me to believe we may see a decrease in their overall numbers as it seems many undead that Quassim personally created fell with him, but there are still many undead roaming these lands that will need to be dealt with.

As to the culture in Wayside surrounding gypsies, expect it to take much time to change the hearts of the people. Such change cannot come through argument, nor threats or assertations. Only through time, and right action will people's hearts be changed. I would advise leaving Mr.Tatcher be for the time being as there is no need, or use, in exacerbating his anger.

Lurin

Lurin,

Ain't been any round since yall killed Quassim.... I figure maybe.... just maybe we kin start hoping again that your efforts were met with success. After all there are so many troubles.
