I'm not a big fan of the specific names... they seem a bit silly and self-aggrandizing, but works for me.

But wouldn't it be a much better forum if those comments were constructive?

I am happy to have been given the chance to bring some exciting news to the community.
The Alliance sells itself based on the strength of its community. We are an organization that stretches across the country filled with people stand on common ground. Sadly, our message boards do not necessarily reflect that. Combative remarks and a confrontational attitude from a vocal minority have driven large portions of our community away from our forums, and it is the goal of the National staff to correct this and bring everyone back.
You may have noticed several new green tinted forum lurkers in the last day or so. There are nine moderation accounts in total (Each of them labeled as a Paladin of <something>). These will be manned by a team of your fellow Alliance players. This team will remain anonymous, but rest assured that they represent all of the different regions of the Alliance and represent a broad spectrum of players.
The National Moderation team has been hard at work for some time now developing a plan to reorganize our forums entirely and establishing rules that will help foster a more positive community and ultimately bring our players back to the message boards!
The chairperson for the National Moderation Committee is Michelle Stagnitta. If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns they can be sent in her direction!
Yours,
Stephen Duetzmann

Chair
National Message Board Moderation Committee
