Can I get a ride from the train station? *for november*

People at work have convinced me trying to drive to through the mountain passes in Montana in a sports car will result in death (I assume they mean mine). Would anyone be able to pick me up from the train station in Seattle on Friday and then just drop me off in an civilized area in/near Seattle on Sunday? We can probably work something out for foodstuffs or some other trade...it won't be George Carlin's rules of the road unless you are a nun though...

What time will you be getting in?

Amtrack says 1025 AM, but i would be more then happy to wait around if you I can get a ride sometime between 1025 and ...later...

We won't be leaving Portland early enough to pick you up then or even a few hours after that. More then likely we won't be leaving until mid to late afternoon.

Though it is starting to look like we will be picking Holly up at the airport that evening around 7pm. If you end up still not getting a ride, I can get you then.

Hopefully someone in the Seattle area will be able to give you a ride though.

Jarsyl,
Once you get to Missoula (I90) the drive is fairly safe, except a small areas east of Spokane. How long have you been driving in Montana? Can I assume you are mil? If your winter driving experience is low I would also recommend alternate travel. In the event you can not find a ride you should be able to rent a car at the train station. May not be the best solution, but it should work.

Well I have seen snow about 6 times. I drove on it twice...but my on "it" I mean like a single snow flake. Never more then an inch.

I turns out I won't be able to make it to this event. Hopefully I will make it to one in the future. I appreciate the offers I got for rides though.
