With the January Event fast approaching we are putting out the call for NPC's. Are you a guild member? Do you just like to NPC or want to see what NPCing is all about? Or maybe you are just short on cash but want to play. Let us know. Respond here or send us an email at oregonplot@gmail.com. The sooner we know you are coming the more time we will have to create roles especially for you.

My cousin Levi's planning on coming. What's the word on NPC food?
 
I'm there, but you probably knew that.
 
NPC food will exist and will cost $10 for the weekend. As usual it will consist of Dinner Friday, Breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday, and Breakfast Sunday.

So Shannon, Tony's wife has kindly offered to come and cook for us (NPCs and plot) for the upcoming event. She will be cooking a smaller dinner on Friday night, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and a smaller breakfast on Sunday. The two of us have been and will continue to be in contact with each other over the course of the next two weeks, so that a menu and general meal times will be available for folks by Friday of the event. Since last time everyone but one person took part in the NPC food meal plan I am currently counting everyone listed as a confirmed NPC on the list for food. Remember the NPC meal plan is $10 for the entire event. If you would not like to take part in this, that is totally ok, just let me know by this coming Sunday if you can, so that we can get as accurate a count as possible. Food will be purchased Wed or Thurs night before the event, so we definitely need to have a pretty close count by that time. If you have any true and reasonable food allergies or you are a vegetarian please let us know so that we have plenty of time to work that into the menu. Please try to avoid just telling us foods you do not like very much. If we avoided everything someone did not like we would likely just have jello all weekend. Not a terrible fate, but you know.

I am heading out Friday around noonish from Beaverton.
I am willing to give rides as needed. Clacks is a bit out of the way, but if you are able to head out early Friday I am willing to come get.
Also trying to get into a caravan just for some safety sake. So if things get cramped, we might be able to arrange me bringing peeps to a meet spot & then we can shuffle gear or bodies around as needed.
 
I'm out there is pretty much no way I will make it.
 
NPC/Food list updated.

Also I will be writing the check to the person purchasing food on Tuesday, this means that I must know by Monday night if you would like to get in on the NPC food meal plan. If you know someone that you think is coming to NPC (new or old) and is not on the list above, call and ask them, and let me know. I would hate for someone to miss the list deadline because they do not check the boards. Also, at this time if you are not on the confirmed NPC list you are not on the food list, so speak up.
 
NPC List Updated. Food paid for. If you are not on this list please contact us before assuming there will be extra NPC food available for you. This does not mean you are out of luck, as I paid for an extra slot, but means we would have to double check as I want to make sure everyone that "pre-ordered" gets their food.

Menu ala Shannon with planned dinner times

Friday Dinner: Pollo Verde (green chicken stew) served with a side of red beans and rice Spanish style (veggie broth), fresh bread rolls --> ready 7:30-8pm
Vegetarian option: Tofu Verde
Saturday Breakfast: biscuits and turkey sausage gravy, scrambled eggs an cheese, bananas, Latka style hash-browns --> ready 8:30-9am
Vegetarian option: vegetarian sausage gravy
Lunch : turkey pepperoni and cheese calazones, Scottish eggs --> ready 1pm
Vegetarian option cheese calazones hard boiled eggs
Snack: cookies, brownies, carrot cake w/cream cheese frosting --> ready 3pm
Dinner: chicken stew (potato carrot celery onion w/brown "gravy") fresh rolls --> ready 6-6:30 pm
Vegetarian option seasonal vegetable ragout w/quinio
Sunday Breakfast: fresh cinnamon rolls hot rolls stuffed w/ left overs (if there are any) --> ready 9:30 am

Drinks: fruit juice (from concentrate) /tea/coffee/ hot chocolate/ bottled water.

***This is for NPCs/Plot ONLY. If you are a PC planning to cook a large meal for a big group of people, please keep in mind that Shannon will be cooking to serve for 20 people at these times, and there for will need some of the larger pots, pans, etc for a bit of time prior.
