There have been confirmed sightings and dealings of flaming purple/dark horses, otherwise known as "Nightmares." These creatures are currently not hostile, and would only attack if threatened or provoke, much like any living creature would do if thrust into such a position.
Again, if you see a Nightmare, do not engage it nor provoke it physically or verbally. They are not here to create nuisance or to harm. In other words, leave the Nightmares alone, and they will leave you alone.
