Clarification needed for Spirit Store

As per this thread in the Marshal Questions section, what is a body left behind by someone who uses the Spirit Store ritual or high magic effect susceptible to?

What potions, elixirs, spells, ritual effects, etc. are valid upon the target of the character body, and what do they do to the spirit stored inside the construct?

(For example, one specific example and path of discussion was Gift, and whether or not the body left behind follows the CSS text where the spirit is not inside the body.)

For simplicity's sake, assume that the only way you can affect an "empty" body is by killing it through whatever means you find most appropriate. As always, we expect players to properly utilize Marshals to ensure that the effects of this become evident when a Spirit Stored character tries to return to their (possibly dead) body.
