Thank you to the Alliance Traverse entire staff

I can very easily speak for my entire group in saying we all had a great time. A huge thank you to all the NPC's, runners, and staff members who made this event as great as it was. A very special thank you goes out to Joe who kept the five of us entertained the entire weekend. Thank you to Chris and Dave for keeping things on keel and the staff on point. Thank you to Mark, Torrey, Bev, Chris, and Joe for having such amazing plotlines for us to follow. Even when we got our asses kicked we were happy to be there. Thank you to Amy for having Logistics run so smooth and efficient, as well as having such wonderful food....well always lol. I have 0 criticism for the entire event. There was only a few speedbumps and mis-communication and all of those were handled quickly and efficiently from my side of the table. I honestly can't name all the NPC's by name otherwise I would thank you all personally. If I forgot any staff member or position who made this weekend possible I am sorry and thank you as well. This one event reminded me why I love this game so much.

We all can't wait for next year and are looking forward to more adventures with everyone either apart or visiting our chapter. Although the only problem I see for you guys is how in the world are you going to top this last event? :D

Sincerely,

Derek John Kenny AKA Mathew "Rook" Dollaway of the Vanguard

P.S. I DIDN'T DO IT!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for being so welcoming to Rob and I after almost 2 yrs away. I had pretty good time, definatly worth the drive, in fact Daphne and I were discussing trying to make this a somewhat consistent road trip for us next season if we can. I cannot wait to see what plot has in the chute for next season there seemed to be some really cool ideas.

Favs:

-In general the huge warm welcome give to me but specically Ahlana and Gwen's greeting was really awesome.
-"Jehan... I need you"-"I kinda feel used right now"
-The scarecrow mod...2:1 NPC to PC ration and butch stats made me feel for a minute like I'd been walked into a deathtrap, but we pushed through hard and eeked out a win...or did we?
-Magic Storm Time- Took me a minute to get dialed in but then I got vicious and the pace of that part of the mod was a perfect storm time.
-'If ya like it then ya should a put a ring on it!"
-The void rift-out sequence...despite being a bit fuzzy out of game....scared me a lot.
-The late night campfire convo with Ahlana, Eve, Regan, and was it Reginald(Thetford's npc) Good RP, a bit of mystery and a hilarious recolection of my first event as a PC ever..."what do you mean you don't know why I cursed you?" LOL.
-Finishing the game...though I admit I was confused as heck and I did consider winning it in the end it felt cool to be involed and to help find a solution that involved no one crumbling.
-Sunday morning Panthergast...I like me a good panther-hunt sometimes mindless battles

I'll post what few constructive critisms I have up as an email....but who should I send that to?

Please send it to me Paul and I will get it to everybody that it needs to go to :).

Thank you Derek and Paul for such glowing accolades. I appreciate it and reading these posts made me smile more than I have in a long time. I also want to thank Joe, Brigit, Dave, Mason, Mike, Tory, Mark, Sterling, Anthony, and Bev for working so hard to entertain. And thank you PCs for rolling with the punches and not complaining or changing the mood of the event. Every time I looked around people were doing things and having fun and that was a great feeling.

I also have to say as a staff member there is no greater compliment and there is nothing I love to hear more than people saying they are excited to and looking forward to coming back to our chapter. Hearing that no lie brings a tear of joy to my eye. Thank you all for that. I can't wait for next year and I can't wait to showcase what my plot team has in store for you. It will be epic to say the least.

Thank you all again. Next year: new camp, new team, new plots, new and old players that make this game amazing = holy cow I can't wait!

Thanks to everyone who NPC'd and played. Was awesome meeting new people!

  • Momentarily tricking Enan into believing it was nothing but the mists that brought me.
  • Both the griffen and pegasus rides.
  • Meeting Alana (sp?) and being all like oh I've heard stories about you.
  • Hunting occultists with everyone.
  • Kobalds... "No I'm not a Kobald. Yip. I'm in disguise."
  • The crows and scare crow. Definately scared me a bit.
  • The crows taunting. "Come out of the circle I want to peck your eyeballs out." Thanks for that one Mike.
  • Void Rift out time and hiding in the ward with Jehan.
  • Jehan showing up and not being mad at me.
  • Campfire talk was definately fun.
  • Late night deaf and mute mod. I kinda want to see if there will be more to this. Poor farmer.
  • Being awoken to "Voice radius Shun all non wilderkin." And thinking oh poo Panthergasts. Then having to time my run for the bathroom around them.
  • Last but not least the car rides to and fro the event.

Yeah definately gonna try to get up here again next season with Paul.

Pieces,

Daphne

I can't remember the last time I had this much fun at an event. Anywhere.

Big thanks to our NPCs.
Joe, I love hating you.
Brigit, you are always so into and perfect at whatever you are doing.
Sterling, I will always wake up for you!
Wedge?, I may not know your name, but you make a wonderful me. <3 the dice.

Specific favorite moments? Theres a lot, but I'll list a few.

Teaching Graydin to read. I think we may have entertained the entire cabin. Thank you for being such an avid student. And who knew poker could be so educational?
Chocolates, one bite bananas, and watching the entire group turn red. I haven't been that umm, carefree?, in a LONG time.
"Where everybody knows your name" C'mon really? Not sure if I should feel special or terrified. Both PCs I'd never met and NPCs I'd never met did this to me all market day long... I still want to know what stories they've heard...
My Jehan.
Frenemies.
Winning.
Breaking my Golem.
Kobolds in disguise.
Terrifing kobolds.
The farmer. Chris, you legitimately sounded lost and sad. It was actually quite heartwrenching.
Finding the true valuables amid the wreckage.
Scarecrow fight. I thought that was going to be a TPK. Ouch.
The fae shrooms. As much as I hate losing, sometimes its nice to be reminded you can. (And sleeping through the repurcutions is fun too :P )
Realizing how far I have come. Specifically as a fighter. (If you disagree shut up now, I like my illusion!)

I'm sure theres more, but my brain still hasn't been unpacked.

<3 Thank you all, on both sides.

Anique/Ahlana

Had fun helping out npc and improv late night...

A few favorites...
...being peter the little boy holding onto peoples legs
...deaf/mute fight was really sad, chris was a good sad daddy
...elemental body storm with mike and mason
...the choas/order stand off
...golem/fae dreams
...kin still hold the fastest pantherghast kill, apparently its a multichapter standard

Hope to see you guys around...

Ps This is Wedge

Whew, what a trip, I'm stilling getting my feet back under me. Was fantastic to get out to TC again, wish I could make it out more often. Here are a few of my favorites.

1.) Regan's "stealthy" arrival
2.) "I get on this griffon one. I get on thi..." "Not alone you don't!"
3.) Late night Kobold hunting and the alternative method of execution by the Gypsy
4.) Catching the Chess Club, or at least Bishop, being sneaky, sometimes it's just to easy to lay the trap.
5.) Joe's Rp with Sabastion, from the 'I'm just a guy who got captured' start to the 'You promised you'd take care of this!' I've rarely seen a more believable person in game, mad props.
6.) "Arcane enslavement kill your friends" Followed by death spells and big eyes
7.) The sheer number of good length mods that expended some abilities without being overly harsh.
8.) 'Cause light wounds?' "Wait light wounds? oh it's on!"
9.) The OOG Look Regan Gave me when Enan mentioned he only had the one sleep spell and couldn't follow her escape.
10.) Gwen's Tasty cooking, a great deal for the price!

I am just curious.. what did I do that was sneaky ?!? You may be thinking of Rook haha :P

The two gold coins from one of the mod that managed to shift themselves to the bottom of the bag and fail to come out ^.^ Enan has a habit of giving people a 'pile' of money with 2-3 gold coins to hold to see what comes out later.

Hm in all honestly I do not remember doing it on purpose. If I did I am sorry :P also sorta makes out then cause you guys got all the stuff from the undead mod we went on to rescue the bearkins.
