Strengthening Charges and Masterwork Items persist through LPs

Simply put, do Strengthening Charges granted through the Smithing Enhance Equipment (Strenghtening) persist until used, the next Logistics Period, or the end of an event? There is confusion since the rulebook states "Crafting Abilities persist through Death and Resurrection, unless otherwise specified, and expire at the end of the Logistics Period."

Secondly, would Masterwork items work the same way? Do they expire at the end of the LP, event, or will they last until they are destroyed?

Strengthening charges persist until used.

Strengthening charges themselves are not a crafting ability

ARB 2.1.2 pg. 103 “Enhance Equipment (Strengthen)” is the crafting ability which is a crafting ability that allows you to apply strengthening charges which upon the end of the LP you lose ability to do so.

In the same way that a potion is not a crafting ability but ARB 2.1.2 pg. 99 “Craft <Skill> Equipment Batch” is an ability that allows you to make production.

Crafting Masterwork items follows the same logic
