so how does a typical weekend look like ...

.. you arrive and then ? Are all in game when they arrive? Are you in time the whole weekend. Are you running mods or is there an overall plot covering the weekend ? How good is the immersion ? What level to expect?

I am asking all these questions to make sure this is right kind of game for me and not just running around with a padded sword and that was it.

There isn’t a typical format for an event, but you can expect:

• To be in character the whole weekend. We aim for as much immersion as possible.
• A mix of combat and roleplay — in what proportion is generally up to you.
• A mix of player-driven and storyteller-initiated content. And things that are both!
• Both one-off occurrences, and things that are designed to tie in to long term storylines. Again, this is a gray area — it’s not like there is a “main plot” and then “sidequests” that don’t matter. Lots of story threads will recur. Some may not. Some may last throughout the weekend, for just a single mod, or for years to come.
• A mix of smaller and larger mods. Some things will involve the whole adventuring community, some things will be more suited to smaller groups for either tactical or character reasons.
