Can a Ritual target a Dead Body? Can a Ritual target the Spirit of someone who is Dead?

This usually comes up as a 'thrown ritual' issue for things like Banish to Other Plane, Shatter Spirit, Obliterate, and Destroy Magic, but at least a few of those have short enough casting times that you could "Speed Cast" (with High Magic) an entire Ritual before a Death Count runs out, so it's generally applicable, too.

Only the portion of a body which contains a spirit may be targeted with any Spirit-targeting ritual once a person is dead. This ceases to apply once a body is permanently dead. The Body itself may be the target of a Ritual, but that ritual (as with any other ritual on the body) will vanish once the body goes to resurrect.
