I do not see it explicitly laid out in the rulebook - if two "limit item use to <blah>" flaws are placed on an item, do the requirements combine, does the most recent replace the previous one, or are they interchangable?

I.E. If an item is flawed to limit use to elves and then flawed to limit use to dwarves, is the item rendered unusable until one or the other is removed, since there are no legal "elven dwarves", or is the item only usable to either elves or dwarves, or is it just limited to dwarves, since that's the most recent flaw? What about an item usable only by "halflings" and "fighters"? What about "must have Read Magic" and "may not have "Read and Write"?

In this case, the requirements are both applicable. If a combination of flaws is chosen that makes an item unusable until one or the other is removed, so be it.

Remember that Plot always has final say on the results of a ritual.
