New NPC/Camp Questions

Hi folks. A small group of us will be coming up from Providence to NPC the July event. Two of us are old NERO players (from the early 90s when there was only one NERO, no seperate chapters) who NPCed an awesome Caldaria event last month. One of us is a total new recruit (my wife, who has never LARPed before).

Since it looks like there are two different sites that you use for events, I'm not sure how accurate the description on the website is. I just wanted to check on the sleeping/shower arrangements for NPCs. Is there an NPC cabin with bunks and stuff or is it just finding a spot on the floor of the monster camp?

If there aren't actual bunks and stuff, my wife and are thinking about buying a tent and bringing it up. Is that allowed? Is there somewhere OOG a couple of NPCs could set up a tent?

On site sleeping is pretty limited if you're looking for bunks in a cabin. Tents, however, are completely allowed and honestly encouraged. Air mattress might also do you some good. There really isn't space in NPC camp for a lot of sleeping, and you risk being kept up/woken up.

We have one shower. If you use it, we ask you chip in a couple bucks to help with the site owners' water bill, but there's no other cost. It's... got character. Just ask someone in the know to show you what and what not to do.
