JoaT does not state that it requires Educated for identification purposes, and I don’t think it’s intended to.

However, the skills it provides access to do not allow identification, they only enhanced the identification itself (with exception to Create Trap).

Please advise if it provides Educated to actually allow identification.
 
The JoaT Ritual does NOT provide any skills or skill substitutes for the purpose of identifying items. It will enhance identification, but does not enable it on its own. If it provided Educated, it would say that it provided Educated.
