It's been roughly a month since the Empire declared war on Ikari’s Hope. The community prepared for the might of the Empire to fall upon them, however it never came. With incoming merchant caravans word from the Empire’s situation arrives with them. News of harvests taken by locusts, gruesome deaths of soldiers, food supplies rotting away and unseasonable weather events making terrain impassable are circulating around town. The most that has been seen are increased patrols of lesser elementals harassing the walls.
However, there is a feel in the air that people are being watched, shadows moving in the dark. A general sense that things are moving unseen.
Ikari’s Hope still prepares. Training of troops, stockpiling of resources and being ever vigilant. The community is calling upon you, the unbounded, to rise to the defense of your town. How will you do so?
