Armor Patch and Arcane Smith

Arcane Smith allows a smith to refit arcane armor. Armor patches dictate you add the bonus armor at the end of a refit. By this logic can an armor patch be used to give bonus armor to an arcane suit?

Armor patches can be used on any time of Base Armor, physical, Arcane, or Natural.
