Airplanes

So, yeah, I'm going skydiving this weekend. Can I tempt anyone else? I figure there's got to be another adrenaline junkie or two amongst the NERO folk.

You can expect it to cost about $150 for the first time, with insurance, training, and everything. It's cheaper after that. Training is Saturday morning, and lasts an hour or two.

It's at the Kapowsin Airfield, which is sort of near Puyalup. (sp?)

No thanks. I tend to want to stay inside until the engine quits or the pilot passes out from alcohol poisoning from the convention the night before. Just remember to keep yer mouth closed or ya get a face full of...well, you know.

I try not to jump out of perfectly good airplanes.

BTDT. HUGE fun, but pricey.
When you get a chance, try the almighty bungee-jumping, too. Not quite as expensive, but defintely more of a heart-stopper. After that, there's always snowboarding...doubl-black runs, or better yet, back-country stuff. (Anna, you're a skier, you probably can relate) Heli-boarding is somethin' I haven't been able to afford...yet.

But for now, I stick to my bikes and racing.
