A Notice to All Adventurers

Khaadijah

Apprentice
To all who attended the gathering in Fairedale, I am putting out a notice and warning about the crime committed against my uncle Ragnar and myself. When my uncle died, giving his life for the people of Icenia, his body was looted by some vicious coward. Ragnar died a HERO and did not deserve to be picked over by whichever good-for-nothing carrion took his belongings.

I am setting a timetable on the return of those personal affects, you have till the next gathering to return EVERYTHING. In that period, I give my oath that no charges shall be filed. After that time, if you are found with Ragnar's items charges will be pressed. You may turn in the items anonymously to the town guard or magistrate if you do not want to give them to me or my crewmates personally.

I am hoping that the people of Fairedale will also assist me and my crewmates to find those items by being watchful and take notice of individuals with those stolen items. I am not asking this for myself but for the memory of my uncle, and a HERO of Fortannis.

In particular, one of the items taken was to go to Lady Azura, upon Ragnar's final death. This was his final wish and it can no longer be carried out. The item was a bracelet, it was a string of small silver skulls.

A list of the other missing items will be posted in the next few days as our family and crew work to arrange for Ragnar's wake.

Sincerely,
Khaadijah, niece of Lord Knight Commander Ragnar
Parduc Negrie Admiral of the Nordenn Baronial Navy

I am angry and responsible for Ragnars death. For I me and my team where there he would have never died. I know Ragnar all to well and know that he went down swining. I am at a loss for words right now. That Item you speak of is a Cloak Nerco and if I notice any one cloaking nercomancy I will demand them to show me the item that they used for it and get it identified to prove it. Ragnar left my team on bad terms but I am glad that at the last gathering we were at together that we made up.

Rest well Ragnar, may we meet again in the graveyards of the heroes.

I..he..er...what? what happened? Sis, what happened to him? You were both doing so well when we saw you in Moria...I don't understand..How.......?

Un-real,
Khaadijah, you have my full support on anything required. 2 more items he might of had on him, were a cloak binding item and a release item. I know these items, because i traded them to him earlier. If I witness these activates. I too will ask to see such items, if they are yours you should have no problem showing them to me.

They are, A small gold button with a purple jewel in the middle. And a heavy leather piece with some small carving work done to it.

I loved your Uncle best. He and I would laugh and kill, I never thought that I would out-live him. I did not know that he could permanently die.

I would hear the tale of how he fell. I will be there when his spirit is fare-welled, if such a scroll and formalist have not been not already been secured, I will acquire them and bring them to whatever land and at whatever time you say is best. I know the bracelet you are speaking of, I will look for it, I hope that somebody find' this thief before I do.

Gilwing

You and I need to talk. I know how you felt about Ragnar, no matter what happened between you. I will meet you wherever you say is good, I will leave immediately. I think the magic of the bracelet is gone, so it is worthless to a thief. I do not think I am wrong about this.

Whoever you are, when you are found, expect no mercy, for you will recieve none. No amount of appologies, or offers will help you at this point.. Not only did you steal from my family, you stole from my Uncle, who died defending that wretched place..Expect to be killed when you are found out, whoever you are.

Tsuku, Kottie:

I am sorry little ones. Ragnar was a hero, and deserves a heros honor. I will make sure his Spirit farewell is cast and those who love him can come and say goodbye to him.

Icenia is many things but it is not a wretched place. Ragnar came and fought and bled to defend it and its people. We are honored and humbled by his bravery, his sacrifice and his nobility.

That one person did this henious act is unthinkable. And I urge them to take the offer of one month to return the items. But do not blame all the land for the deeds of one ignorant fool.

You know if either of you need anything please come to me and I will help you with whatever I have. Be safe, and be strong, your uncle would expect that of you both, and I know you will honor him always.

I apologize for my brother Tsuku's harsh words. He is hurt and angry, as I was and am. He did not mean to threaten that way and we all will abide by my oath regarding the return of Uncle Ragnar's items. I am still angry and in agony over this loss but I will not act rashly and will honor my Uncle in the proper way.

Please accept my apology for Tsuku's rash words and those I may have spoken in my grief.

Sincerely,
Khaadijah, niece of Lord Knight Commander Ragnar of Moria

Khaadijah,

Ragnar was a true hero in every sense of the word. I only wish I could have known him longer. I fought beside him that night, on the same flank as he did. We both paid a terrible price for this, and I am intensely sorry we could recover his body before someone else did. I have more to say on this, to you personally and I will speak with you privately. All I can say now is you have my full backing and aid. Should these items not be returned to you, a storm will be upon whoever has committed this grave act.

The Stormblades have a spirit farewell scroll and I believe all of the components. I will check on the components, but we offer this up to whichever ritual caster wishes to perform the casting.

In Service,
-Gwendara Alanik
Seneschal of the Stormblades

appologies to all, my words were spoken in grief, and I know that Uncle Ragnar would not approve..Things shall come to pass as they will.

Tsuku,
Nephew to Uncle Ragnar

Khaadijah,

No appology is needed. Your brother speeks from his heart, and from his spirit. He knows his anger, and what must be done to someone who would disgrace a hero one of our darker moments. Compasion and mercy are for times when one can truly repent, when a mistake has been made. I see no mistake here. One doesn't accedently loot a fallen hero's pockets.

Tsuku,

If you find who did this, don't be so hasty to dispatch them. There are much more satisfing ways to make someone pay then killing them. If you don't know how, bring them to me. I would gladly use such a coward as a teaching tool.

Till the Full Moon is no more,
Amaranthus Landcharmer

You all must be talking about a different Ragnar that I never met. The Ragnar I know would never stay dead. He may not be moving right now, but do not worry. He will return alive and well. He is probably making a deal with The Registrar even as we speak.

Just wait.

Perwin Poppinfresh

I have ideas for the one I catch with Uncle Ragnar's possessions, you needn't worry about that. I will honor my sister's oath as well, and wait out a month's time for this creature to return what is not his, whether in person, or through some other means.

Tsuku
Nephew to Uncle Ragnar

This is terrible! I...can't believe...Ragnar... Whoever took his things, I'll honor my sister's oath only for the time she has specified. Once that time has passed, if the items are not in our possession know that there will be no mercy and we will not stop.

-Jin-Lei

To the one who stole my comrade's possessions,

Hope that the Magistrates and Nobles find you before I do.

To All
Ragnar. What more need you say then his very name? Ragnar. The very name itself rings with the sound of steel on steel, the clash of weapons, of Honor. Ragnar. I have personally seen him lay his life on the line for King's, Queen's and commoner alike. This is is the very man to whom I Parduc Negrie in trusted with the very lives of my kittens on countless occasions.
I can not begin to express the amount of grief I and my crew mates are and will experience in the coming months and years at the loss of one we dared to call family. The loss of his smile, his hearty laughter, ready wit and hours upon endless hours of stories. Ragnar was a shining light that has now been cruelly snuffed out.
Ragnar stood up for so many of us at one time or another laying his life and his honor on the line.
I ask now who will stand up for him? He gave his final breath for those he cared for, admired, and called friend. In death he brought honor to himself that no man or woman can ever bring to themselves in life. But yet in death someone else dishonored him by literally picking his bones of valuables to keep for themselves rather then return them to his loved ones.
Perhaps I am wrong. Perhaps I am mistaken an in all honesty I truly hope that I am. I hope that I am proven wrong and that the items will be returned to those whom they had been promised to upon his final death. The the kittens Khadi, Tsuku and Cecils grandchildren, and to Lady Azura. I hope that someone picked them up in good faith with the intent to return them and simply forgot in the ensuing grief. I will publicly apologize to the one who steps forward and offers them up explaining away the simple mistake.
I will also offer up a reward to anyone returning the items or offering information that leads to their return.

Thank you friends and fellow adventurers for your support in our time of sorrow.

Parduc Negrie
Admiral of the Nordenn Baronial fleet of the Kingdom of Icenia.
Privateer Admiral to the Kingdom of Arandin

To my crew mates
Please stay your harsh words of punishment for those who might have committed this crime. We will not sully Ragnars memory with needless violence. These matters can and will be settled in the legal fashion.
I know your tempers and blood run high for are we not Gorbe? A violent race by nature? i understand but this matter be settled with true justice.

Please note that if someone has information about who may have stolen Ragnar's possessions and wishes to report that anonymously for fear of retribution from the thief, I am the person to talk to.

Sir Eros Clearbrook, Magistrate

I don't think anyone here fears retribution from the theif.

That is a problem that appears to be well in hand.

Unfortunately one black humanoid figure is very hard to distinguish from another in the dark.

If you wish it Khadi, Quinn has offered to perform the Spirit Farewell in Vandlar, and we are in possession of the scroll and components to cast it.
