Traveling through the mists is sometimes difficult with baggage but I'm fairly certain I can fit at least one doublet in my bags. I would love to attend any celebration you might throw.

Muir - We get what...6 silver per player per level per logistics? What else will we pay that on? We need sinks otherwise we just get gold and trade it around ourselves for formal scrolls pushing little piles of paper and coin around but nothing ever leaving. That creates the terrible...
Great points Evan. On one hand, I'd almost rather Alliance as a game decided do they care about an economy or not. It's a big decision that should be made at the game level. Dystopia Rising decided it would be a key part of their game, so it's designed with that in mind. Other games have...
I disagree with you MS that item removal isn't fun for players. It is fun for players as long as certain expectations are made AND it promotes the bigger picture of a real game economy.
Nod Zeth, I get your point. But, the rules are inconsistent and incomplete. Whatever takes the place of the treasure policy committee really should put out a handbook reviewing this and other issues when we go live with the new treasure policy. The by-laws are poorly written for that section...
2 years is a VERY long time for something to expire. Plot can always put out more treasure if they feel like there isn't enough. They can send in merchants to sell gear if needed. You can spend a minimal amount of GS (which promotes volunteering) to also get yourself a few backup weapons. I...
If all loot dropped production had a 2 year expiration, we’d see uptick in a need for crafters to make items that don’t expire. Maybe we should head more in this direction. Alliance doesn’t have good gold sinks, we need things to expire. We need to focusing on creating a need for crafters.
I don't disagree with that. Still, if this is what we are focusing on regarding our economy, we are nitpicking and not dealing with the bigger issues. Seriously we are quibbling over such a small amount when these weapons last 2 years. I bet people lose more tags in their own stuff or in the...
We have expiration on our weapons in Denver but plot also drops a decent number of production tags. There are large stockpiles of spare weapons and armor floating around. Most people gobble extra swords to have spares. I don’t see our demand going up with 2.0 and no one really renders weapons...
I had like 2 retributions, and used them both logistics cycles. Decided that in the future, I might as well have one for every defense I use and a few counteracts in case they get reflected back to me. That just seems a bit too good.
Thanks Chris for that clarification. Same then I take it for a channeling pool? Or do you have to sell back it one at a time? Same with formals I take it?
I think there enough discussion about trap avoidance it should go in its own thread (I think there is one already).
As for counteract, I like it. 2 points for what could be a free defense. I probably wouldn’t take more than one or two but I like it. It could use a slight buff tho. Or..I'd...
Good point Krystina! Maybe a better question of what do we want packet colors to indicate? Is it for us to see what type of enemies we are fighting? Is it to allow the stealing of IG arrows and globes? Is it to help indicate to the player being hit what defense is applicable?
I think...
