Same as poisons. Normally, one, which will be used the next time you swing it. If you've got Poison Caches on your weapon, more of them, and you decide what order they come out. If you've got a Poison Trigger on it, you also decide when they come out.

My interpretations of things people write can be wrong or just out of date. That quote isn't :p worthy since that paragraph could be interpreted more than one way and it's from a different packet anyway.

I think what you're asking is: "Can I buy times/ever rits with points, and what is their duration?". Yes, you can buy them. Times ever items last until used regardless of how you got them. The clause you quoted is only for converting times/ever items into duration items.

If Weapon Shield will block multiple qualifiers, it probably shouldn't be named after one qualifier. If it protects you against multiple things that might damage you, might I suggest "Magic Armor"? ;) But as for your rule of thumb, it sounds like "5 spell strike chaos" would also be blocked...
