    Losing levels for dying would be a kick in the bag. People save up to buy skills for months or years... Sure, you lose more when you perm...but when you perm, you get a story to tell out of game, your friends get a story to tell in game.

    I still feel like this trivializes death. It means prema death won't happen, and there won't be that tension. The only downside is maybe having a time out The system is fine as is.

    Without permanent death, there are no stakes for the PCs. They can just run in, go ham, die, come back and repeat. If anything, I think permanent deaths being easier (by removing vuyinb back deaths) would be better. Just this year, we've had two higher level PCs perm and one pull black.

    As a celestial caster (adept), celestial has been OP for quite some time now. I think with this packet, things have finally evened out, personally.

    Well that's too bad. Just means one less thing I need to spend build on (but then I have to be more careful with my spell selection)

    What someone from our chapter said is: Flexiable casting says "convert a spell in memory", where United Blow says "expend any signature spell...from memory" So maybe they don't work together, since the Signature Spell isn't technically from memory? Either way, would love clarification one way...
