Upcoming Removal of Eviscerating Blow and Spirit Temper Options for Affected Players

No one is perfect though. If you are given a spirit temper and it doesnt work for what you need, then reach out again and let us know what youre trying to accomplish.

Thanks everyone,

National CS/PR

Well I reached out a couple days ago and have received no response. Hopefully just an oversight….

Ian,

I recieved your message and am working on it.

Thanks,

Steve

Ok, official update for everyone……

Long story short there will be no change from a temper from National. If ya have 1 EB or 10, it it what is it is and nothing is going to change from the national level. That being said, they have been very nice in responding and at least fielding my concerns before politely telling me to pound sand lol. Cant make everyone happy ya know.

Good news is that local chapters are allowed to work with us, for whatever that means. I’m hoping that loot tables will be adjusted for this trickle down from National to fix things but we’ll see.

When I finally get my respec done and someone decides to drop doom blow and dodge, I’ll be raging lol

That’s ridiculous looks like we need to find some scrolls…

Maybe this will be a cautionary tale for the future on how not to roll major changes out. Maybe not, who knows. Most active thread on the board in years and it’s not praising the change or how it’s been handled.

Please make sure you express any displeasure you have to your local
Owners. Customer feedback (even after the fact) from local players can better prevent repeats than any centralized warnings or recommendations.

Don’t worry, we have. The contact I’ve had Atlanta and Crossroads has been nothing short of awesome. Great people there willing to listen to their customer base and offer help. Kudos for sure!

If folks who attend MA have feedback/concerns/suggestions I am always open to hearing them.

In this thread's defense(?), the detraction from forums and promotion of Discord over the years has hardly promoted wider-community discussion. I recall Advil-worthy years ago, the pressure to stop using chapter-specific forums to instead use these consolidated network forums for better network-wide communication and community building/feel.

Unfortunately, between Discord, the utter toxicity of the Rules forums from years back, and "the great sundering" (iykyk), we've gone to a much worse scenario, where we have a National Discord and separate Chapter Discord servers, then these forums that are often ignored or forgotten. And where to look for what, and how to archive the best communication method is anyone's guess.

That sounds like a leadership failure.
