CAAZ Opener Event – May 30th – June 1st
• Pre-registration Close – May 25th at 11:59PM - EVENT FEE IS $90, Food is $30. Cabin assignment will be on a first come, first serve basis with payment. Space is limited to 50 people!
• Payment for Event/Food – Payments can be sent to Zelle: CAAZOWNER@gmail.com or Venmo: @AllianceLARP-CAAZ. We can also accept cash and possibly Paypal. If it’s cash, please let us know so we can take that into account and make arrangements to accept it at site.

• Food: The kitchen will be a community space that is available for all to use and store food. Space will be somewhat limited in the fridges and freezers. More information about the kitchen and food below.

• Projected Timeline (Subject to change) -
o Friday 4:00 pm - PCs allowed onsite.
o Friday 6:00 pm - Logistics Opens in the NPC Camp
o Friday 9:00 pm - Opening Announcements in the tavern
o Saturday 6:00 pm - Skill Reset
o Sunday 10:00 am – Game Lay-Off. We will have closing announcements in the Tavern Building. We will condense this best we can to help everyone get on the road.

Site Information
Camp Lutherwood Utah is located 2 miles east of Long Valley Junction, UT, down a well-maintained gravel road. The campsite is not visible from the main road, but signage to the site is clear. Most GPS will have the Camp listed as “Camp Lutherwood of Utah”. Information and directions for the site as listed at the link below.


Site Specifics (Camp Lutherwood)
• Cabin assignments will be given out upon arrival at the site. For those with identified sleeping issues, the camp volunteers have OK’d individuals to stay in their vehicles. Please reach out to staff so we can denote this and make appropriate arrangements.
• Bathrooms are out of game but the areas around them are not.
• There are showers in each of the bathrooms.
• Hydration is key in any elevation and dry environment like UT. Hydration salts/tablets will be available upon requests.
• There is limited cell phone reception at the site. Please take that into consideration in case you have to be contacted. Wifi SHOULD be available at the Camp.
Food
• If you would like to help with a meal or help with doing dishes afterwards, you will be getting goblin stamps for it. There will be a sign-up sheet posted by the kitchen for anyone who would like to help. If you help with a meal, make sure the staff writes it down so we can get you GS after game.
• If you have brought your own food or snacks, please keep them in a sealed container and labeled in some way. We have limited refrigerator and freezer space.
• If you help clean up after yourself, cleanup will go much faster.
o This includes throwing out your own garbage, which will be identified by staff at the site. If you are unsure where it is, please find a CAAZ staff member.
• Menu is still in the works and will be communicated out closer to the event!

Fires and Smoking
• There are usable firepits on the campsite. Please practice good fire safety prior to retiring for the evening. NO COMBAT will occur around the firepit.

Drugs/Alcohol
o Per Alliance Rules, there will be no consumption of alcohol or mind-altering drugs at the event. If you have any signs of impairment due to these substances, you will be asked to leave.

Weather
o The early projected weather for the weekend currently is that it will be a high of 80° and a projected low in the mid-40s. ° As we approach the game, we will this forecast.

Parking – Once your gear is dropped off, we will be having everyone parking their cars in a designated parking area.

Bedding – Bring your own linens, blankets, pillows, and sleep aids.

Site Exploration – The area around the site has incredible views. We at CAAZ encourage you to wander and explore the area around the camp, which is nearby the Zion National Park and Paunsaugunt Plateau West.
